Our COVID-19 Emergency Preparedness Plan is in Effect

Home Health Aide

Our home health aides support our clients to perform activities of daily living.

Our team of highly-trained Home Health Aides work under the supervision of an RN (registered nurse) or therapist to provide in-home care for people needing a little extra help.

Tasks performed by Home Health Aides include:

  • Personal care: Bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, shaving, hair-skin-nail care and dressing
  • Walking, transfers, and bowel/bladder support
  • Meal planning and preparation, and eating support
  • Foot care
  • Medication reminders
  • Range of motion exercises and assistance with home exercise programs

Our aides are oriented to the client’s personal plan of care and personal preferences.

We ensure each aide has the appropriate experience and skills to effectively manage all situations. Beyond skills, we purposefully match caregivers to clients based on personality, background, and experience. Our goal is for clients to always feel heard, understood, and respected.

We provide periodic in-service training and professional development opportunities in order to retain the best Home Health Aides. RN case managers also perform periodic supervisory visits to ensure our clients’ Plan of Care is appropriately monitored and updated.
