Mendota Heights, MN
Meet General Manager: Amber Andersen, PT
Amber started with Adara in 2016 as a Physical Therapist in our Buffalo office before her transition to General Manager in the Mendota Heights branch. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of Minnesota and has over 10 years of healthcare-related experience including managing a medical records department, serving as a technical writer for a pharmaceutical testing company, and providing direct patient care.
As the leader of the Mendota Heights branch, she relies on her personal philosophy to reduce suffering in the world to guide her in her decision-making and in her interactions with others. She believes that every patient deserves the best care and a positive experience with health care and has been continuously amazed by the individuals she’s had the privilege to help as a clinician. She also finds deep satisfaction in helping others reach their highest potential by recognizing talent and opportunities, promoting personal and professional growth, and connecting people with the resources they need to work and live their best lives with a sense of purpose, fulfillment, and inspiration.
She lives with her significant other, her son, and her two well-trained but ill-behaved dogs! In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing board games, and a lot of buttery popcorn with a good movie.
Branch Managers are responsible for the overall management of the branch including the provision of all aspects of client care, personnel recruitment, hiring, orientation, marketing and sales employee relations, adherence to company policies and procedures, and setting goals that ensure the long-term success of their branch office.
